1V-LSD
1VLSD is also known as 1,valeryldlysergic acid diethylamide. It’s a relatively new compound in the psychedelic field. Although the exact date of its development and origin are unknown, it’s believed that the compound was synthesized recently as part of an ongoing exploration of lysergamide analogs.
This compound is a member of the lysergamide family, which includes drugs such as LSD or 1P-LSD. Due to its newness in the research world, it does not yet have a Chemical Abstracts Service number (CAS).
Chemical Information
The formal chemical name for 1V-LSD is 1-valeryl-N,N-diethyllysergamide. It has a similar structure to classic psychedelic LSD. However, it adds a valeryl group onto the nitrogen of the LSD. Its molecular form is C24H31N3O2.
For easy distribution, 1V-LSD is usually a powdery white crystal or can be blotted on paper sheets. The molecular structure of 1V-LSD is not visible at all to the naked eyes, like other organic compounds.
Uses and effects
Due to its uniqueness and intriguing lysergamide characteristics, 1V-LSD has a high research use. It’s thought to have psychedelic properties, including visual hallucinations and altered perceptions of time and place. Due to its relative newness, it’s still unknown what the exact profile of effects is. This makes this an exciting research area.
It is possible that as a derivative, LSD acts as a partial agonist for the serotonin 5HT2A receptor. However, more research is required to confirm this.
Dosage
Due to the relative ignorance surrounding 1V-LSD it is important that you take extreme care when determining your dose. As 1V-LSD is a potent form of lysergamide it’s expected that dosages will be in the range of micrograms, just like LSD and other analogues.
Please be aware of the unpredictability and novelty of this substance. It is best to use caution until more research has been conducted and ensure safety measures have been put in place.
The legality of 1V -LSD can also vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Verify local laws and regulations prior to purchase.
